Trading Methods
The trading method of domestic futures is electronic trading, while that of non-domestic futures includes electronic trading, open outcry trading and OTC trading at the same time.
Trading Hours
According to the Exchange rules, the trading hours of each future products vary differently. For details, please refer to"Contract Specs".You may take Exchange announcement as confirmation.
Trading Currency
The non-domestic futures are usually traded in US dollars, while clients may still take currencies recognized by regional exchanges as the foundation to trade.
Trading Orders
The common trading orders in non-domestic futures markets include market order, limit order, stop order and stop limit order.
Note: HKEX and LME don’t support market order and stop order.
Minimum Trading Unit
In futures trading, "Contract" is the trading unit, and the minimum trading unit of futures is a standard contract which is normally called one standard lot. The contract size of different futures contracts varies differently. For details, please refer to"Contract Specs".
Price Limits
Many futures contracts have no intraday price change limit. For products having price limits, the limits are calculated at fixed amounts rather than percentages.
Margin
Margin of non-domestic futures is calculated at a fixed amount based on the current market conditions. Futures margin includes maintenance margin and initial margin (it may be different in LME carries).
